Jaxon stumbled home like a zombie, where Scarlett rushed up to greet him with her face still covered in bruises.[]

When he nodded, Scarlett’s eyes lit up with unmistakable joy, her voice practically bubbling with excitement.]

“The only way Remi might forgive me is if I divorce you.“]

Jaxon’s eyes turned vicious as he looked at this unhinged woman, and he lunged at her.
