“So you placed Chris in the Summit Infirmary because that hospital treated your father as an injured patient back then, but they insisted on issuing a certificate stating he died on the spot. You’ve always had doubts about that,” she said.

When he returned home at night, Jessica was already resting.
She had been exhausted lately–business trips and busy hospital matters wore her out.
