wife had desperately wanted to marry

“Abigail, tell me exactly what’s going on
here?” Gianna’s voice crackled through the phone, prompting Abigail to steal another glance at Marcus.
In a moment of impulsive clarity, she blurted out, “Gianna, I’m married now.”
“What?!” Gianna’s voice was a mix of shock
and disbelief.

me this now? Who did you marry? What do
you mean by ‘new husband‘? You didn’t just
find a random guy at the wedding, did you?
Even if you’re trying to get back at Felix, this
isn’t the way to do it. Marriage is supposed
to be for life, you know!”
Even Gianna, who thought she knew Abigail
