Chapter 5
Rachel posted on her Instagram:[]
[While everyone else was being nerds, he filled his test sheets with “I love Rachel” over and over]]]
That’s when I realized what Jonas had been frantically scribbling during the exam.]
I was speechless for a moment.[]
And without him in the running, I became the undisputed top scorer.[]
Mr. and Mrs. Parker were rushed to the hospital on the spot, while my parents angrily smacked Jonas on the head:[]
“You little rascal! How could you throw your whole future away like that!”
But Jonas didn’t care at all:[]
“I want you all to know that you can’t control me anymore!“]
On the day of my celebration dinner, I sobered up in the bathroom and stumbled out, only to hear bidding voices from the private room next door:[]
“A thousand bucks! I want Ruby’s tits!”
“Five grand! I want three photos!”
“Ten thousand! I’ll take them all!“[]
I frantically peered through the crack in the door.
Inside was a room full of men waving cash, bidding on my photos displayed on the screen.
And in the main seat, Jonas had his arm around Rachel’s waist, smiling as he watched it all.]
“What are you doing!”
I rushed through the door in panic.]
When Jonas saw me, he just raised an eyebrow:]
“Oh? Look who showed up. Chill out, we’re just messing around.[]
“You’re such a bookworm. Let me show you something fun.”
When the dozen men saw me, their eyes lit up, and they all stood up:[]
“Oh wow, Rach, does your business come with freebies?”
“Damn! I thought the photos were ps, but girl, you really do have a body like that!“]
“Since you came here yourself, we can’t just let you leave empty–handed.“[]
The door slammed shut behind me.
All those men surrounded me, their eyes gleaming like they’d found their prey. “CRASH!”
A wine glass shattered on the floor as Jonas stepped in front of me:
The auction was just for fun – who the hell said you could actually touch her?”
Rachel stood up in surprise.
Jonas turned to look at me:
“What are you standing there for? Get out of here!“]]
“Hey wait!
The men grabbed Jonas’s arms, pleading:
“Mr. Parker, we really like this girl. Don’t worry, we’re serious about this. We’ll definitely make her…”
“Shut the fuck up!“]
Jonas’s furious shout echoed through the room]
“Anyone who lays a fucking finger on her today can deal with me!“]
Everyone was too scared to make a sound, Rachel’s eyes lit up with a evil idea, then she quickly stepped forward:[]
“Yeah Ruby, you better get out of here fast.“[]
Then she suddenly pulled me closer and whispered:[]
Go to hell…”
She grabbed my hand and slapped it against her own face, then threw herself into the champagne tower.]
Jonas frantically caught her in his arms, wiping the alcohol off her body.[]
“Jonas… Ruby said she’s calling the cops… she wants to send me to prison, and she’s gonna get these guys to rape me…[]
“I have no idea what I could have possibly done to deserve this kind of treatment…“[]
Jonas’s expression changed completely.
I noticed the shift in his eyes.[]
I turned to run for the door, but someone grabbed me and threw me back.]
“You haven’t changed one bit.“[]
Jonas looked at me coldly and nodded to the men.]
Then he protected Rachel as they left the room.]
I desperately reached out:
“Stop: Jonas! What are you doing!”
“Just teaching you some grown–up lessons. I’m starting to think maybe you’re so boring that’s why you do such twisted, heartless shit!“[]
The door slammed shut in front of me.]
I tried to rush out, but a dozen hands pulled me back.
The memories of being tortured to death in my past life flashed before my eyes…]
Ten hours…
I never wanted to remember what I went through during those ten hours.]
I grabbed a wine glass and smashed it over one guy’s head, then ran into the bathroom and barricaded the door.
“Tuck! You idiot! You let that little bitch slip away!“[]
“Break it down! Don’t let her go!“]
“Little girl, open up. We’re not gonna hurt you, we just want to teach you some things…“]
Even though their coaxing got gentler and gentler []
Chapter 3
But the door frame kept getting looser and looser.]
I was shaking against the wall when my hand found the window.[]
This was the third floor…]
The door cracked open at the corner.

I ran like hell, leaving all their cursing behind me.]

It was Jonas
[Just say sorry and I’ll come get you.]]
I clicked on his profile and blocked him.
Looking back, I thought I saw Jonas with his arm around Rachel flash past the window.
But I just smiled-
I hoped years from now, he wouldn’t regret the choices he made today.
The road ahead stretches endless and bright – Jonas, this time I chase my dreams alone.
