Chapter 18 

Not even ten minutes later, a small red mini car stopped in front of me.] 

A cheerful woman jumped out of the car.]

“Boss, are you really leaving?” The woman, who was my best friend, Fredrica Bennet, immediately asked.[]

“Yes.” I nodded, opening the passenger door and getting in.]

“Great!” Fredrica leaned against the car door and jumped into the driver’s seat, exclaiming with excitement, “You were originally such a proud person, but because of a person named Thorne, you lost your pride and became a slave to their family. They not only don’t appreciate it, but also think that you took advantage of them, always treating you with ill intentions. I couldn’t bear it long ago!”

I closed my eyes for a moment, not saying anything.
