The house had settled in just three weeks, because nothing had gone wrong with the contracts of transfer of the deed. The owners had already moved out and into their new home. She’d had it transferred into a family trust, so it was not only hers but the boys as well, and that trust she’d had created was known as the Riddley Family Trust, simple and easy, her first name not attached to it

She’d talked a fair bit to Anabell over the past few weeks as she dreamed more and more about things that could possibly only be Marrin’s life events. Sometimes they weren’t even dreams, she’d be doing something, and she’d suddenly have a memory of doing that before in another home

Putting flowers in a vase had gotten her every single week. It was something she liked to do; have fresh flowers in her house and her office. A simple but pretty vase filled with blue iris’s and yellow roses or white lilies, something she just thought were pretty. A brilliant purpleblue with a splash of yellow or white. Complimented each other and they always made her smile

Though now from talking to Anabell she’d heard that Marrin always had a large vase out at Cliffside in the entryway of the home, was in fact the first thing one saw when entering the house, and it was filled with blue iris’s and white cala lilies. So that explained the memories of her making flower arrangements on a table in the entranceway of a home. It was simply what she’d done once upon a time

She had memories now of walking up to and sitting on that seat atop the cliff and just watching the ocean. She never worked up there, just sat and contemplated or kind of zoned out was the impression she got from those memories, though alot up there

There were many memories now bleeding into her life over the past few weeks, so many that it stopped her from working at times, and some sent her outside to sit with her laptop, to lean up against a tree and work. Something that she’d done as Marrin she even knew where on that estate now she sat, had a full view of the house and the driveway

It was at the front of the house, but off to the side as well. She knew if she looked north the driveway would be there and south she would see a full view of manicured laws up to the cliff, where she would go and sit at times. A bench seat she even knew she’d picked out herself. Had gone shopping one day, roamed all the garden centers around the area and picked that seat out herself

She’d learned from Anabell quite a bit, and that had filled in some of the gaps in her memories, like the clothes she’d worn and the way she’d styled her hair. That she not only lived at the Cliffside Manor but had also worked from there after about 12 months of being married to Calvin, Marrin hadn’t liked the commute, apparently

She’d spoken to Cameron, and they’d organised a good time for her and the boys to head on out to Bigfork Montana to go and walk around in the new house. The boys were very excited about going on the trip, even though it was mostly going to be traveling, half a day there and back and only one full day on their own todo as they pleased

The first day would be flying out there and then picking up the keys, heading out to the house so Heath, who would be going with her, could do a full security assessment of the home. It was very large and had two entry points that needed to, from the pictures, have better security because it didn’t look to have any at all. Just

opened with a push of a button, no different to an automatio garage foller door

Cameron had already advised her to have a key code access or swipe card access created and there was room on top of the gates pillars to house security cameras. Though she’d sat with him and told him that sh mostly recalled being Marrin now, and that had led to some questions about what she wanted to do

She still wanted to keep him and his security team with her and the boys until that restraining order was over, even though there wasn’t a single memory of Calvin being anything other than a perfect gentleman. She stilt wanted him to be held accountable for his actions against her in Houston

And to do that she needed Cameron and his team to stay in place and see if he breached the new contract that had been drawn up. Cameron had just nodded, and asked her, After that?”

I don’t know.Had come out of her and she kind of leaned back in the chair. I’m undecided about what I should do with him. A part of me kind of understands him, but another part of me wants to beat the living hell out of him. Punish him for hurting me, and I know he didn’t do it on purpose, but still,” she’d muttered. Understandable,Cameron nodded. You got injured by his actions, and still suffer the after effects. I’d want to punish him too, if I were you.”

Lisa was of the opinion that she should plead ignorance altogether and let the man suffer for months more, one month for every month she had to put up with the side effects of that head wound. She still wasn’t happy with Calvin himself, and it showed. Marilyn, however, didn’t want to aggravate him or give him a reason to be annoyed with her, not after seeing just how angry he could get

Though she had no memories of him ever being like that with her, he always just smiled at her and talked to her. She had many memories of them attending functions together and laughing and dancing, talking business even. Though the memories of her divorce still eluded her and that was something she did want before making a decision about anything where he was concerned

She was all packed and ready to go for their trip to Montana. She’d checked that phone given to her was fully charged and in the bowl on the coffee table in the living room. She wasn’t going to take it with her. There was no need, as far as she was concerned, for him to know where she was going or even why. Hadn’t informed him and she wouldn’t be

She was only going to be gone for three days, it would hold the charge for that long, seeing as there was nothing running in the background. There also shouldn’t be any issue with her and the boys going to Montana, unless, of course, he had someone watching them and reported her getting on a plane to an unknown destination. Which was what Cameron was looking for

Marilyn really hoped, and for not only her sake, but both the boys that, that did not happen, but even she had doubts about it

There was nothing she could do until they were actually up in the air and flying away out of the state. Until then her going to Roanoke would be normal for his people to see if he was watching her, because that was where her specialists and doctors were

busy all the time, even Marilyn looked at the boys running about the front yard playing tag, she thought, as Vin was running after Cal, trying to catch him. She smiled as she twisted the lock on the back of the door now, they should be getting in that car waiting for them but were running about. At least they were expanding all their energy before being cooped up in a plane for the next six hours, give or take

All she had to do was pull the door shut. She hollered to the boys to use the bathroom one last time as she

took her suitcase to the car. Just pull the door shut when you come out.She told them as they ran off

inside to use the bathroom

She put her suitcase in the boot next to the boystwo bags and Heath’s suitcase. He was already sitting in the front seat next to Ashley, just waiting for her and the boys. She stood next to the car with the door open and saw Vin come out first and then Cal, and he banged that door shut and yelled All locked, mum.” and ran over to the car and got in next to his brother, and then she slid in next to him

It certainly was, she thought with a shake of her head, there was no need to bang it like that, but he was just seven and probably thought he needed to. She saw Daniel leaning on the door frame of the guest house. He was one of Cameron’s team and the man nodded to her as they drove away

He would be staying at the property in case her being gone was noticed and Calvin sent someone in to check with certainty she’d not returned home due to that phone still showing it was at the house. It was what Cameron was expecting if Calvin had a man watching her, and they’d gotten past his team. For them to go into the house and try and find out where she’d gone, looking for a travel itinerary

They arrived at the airport and Doyle, their pilot for the weekend, was waiting for them, stored their luggage and saw them to their seats, and they were up and gone within 30 minutes of arriving. The advantage of chartering a private plane was that there was no hours needed to sit and wait for boarding, and it had a scheduled takeoff time, to fit in and around other planes using the airport. She let the boys sit where they wanted. They’d taken up a seat together nothing unusual about that, and she took one across from Heath. There was no hold ups and the flight was expected to be uneventful
