Chapter 80
From the corner of my eye, I see Enya take a step forward, but I’ve been waiting for Dorian to make his move. Fast as a whip, I grab him behind his neck and slam his head on the table. I grab one arm, yanking it behind his back as I slide across the table putting pressure on his shoulder, nearly dislocating it, to hold him in place.
My timing was perfect. Just as he begins screaming obscenities at me, Christian stops by the door. He makes sure not to block it as Shane leads the woman to an interview room down the hall. Her eyes go wide, and her mouth drops open.
When Dorian tries to kick out at me, I slam my foot into his knee, hearing the satisfying snap as it pops out of joint. He screams in agony.
“How’s it going, Mom?” Christian asks above the screaming.
“We’re all good in here, thanks honey,” I say, grinning at my son.
He shakes his head at me, checks to make sure Enya is okay. He winks at her before following Shane to the next interview room.
The guards walk in, staring at me in surprise. “Do you want us to take him, Alpha?”
“Yeah, I think we’re done here. He’ll need some medical attention for that knee. Not sure they can do anything for that bruised ego though,” I say, as they grab him from the table, leading him back to his cell. The sound of his obscenities follows him down the hall.
I brush my hands together and then wipe them on my pants.
“Well, what did you think?” I ask her.

“You were AWESOME!” Enya says, grinning at me.
“Come on, let’s go wash the filth off and then we’ll get back to finding this money. Hopefully Shane and Christian will have an answer for us before too long.”
“Where did you learn how to do that?” she asks as we walk up the stairs and back into the main packhouse.
“The Academy,” I tell her.
“Did you kick his ass, Mom?” Sebastiana asks me as we step out of the cells.
“I did,” I say, watching my mate’s eyes go dark.
“You need a shower,” he growls. I bite my lip as my core clenches. Even after all these years, this man can turn me on with just a look.
“I might need some help,” I purr.
“Then I’m your guy,” his growl getting even deeper as he walks forward and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his waist as he takes my mouth in a dominant kiss and he begins walking us to our bedroom.

I watch Alpha Sebastian carrying Alpha Christina away.
“Come on. They’ll be awhile. Dad never rushes his time with mom. Christian and I learned at a young age that when they’re together, someone better be dying if you’re going to interrupt them. So, tell me everything.”

I do, telling her how incredible her mother was.
“Yeah. Mom’s a badass. That’s where I get it from. Well, I guess technically my dad is a badass too, but mom is able to showcase it more when idiots like that Dorian guy underestimate her.”
“She dislocated his knee,” I tell her.

She shrugs. “So, Christian and Shane found the nurse he was working with?”
