Rachel hurried to Wanda City, following Chris‘ driver inside.
Outside the residential complex, a crowd of fans and paparazzi had already gathered.
The moment the news hit the trending list, fans went into a frenzy, and the paparazzi weren’t far behind, relentless in their chase for the latest scoop.
When Rachel and her group arrived at Chris’s home, the first thing they heard was his manager’s voice, frantic and stressed, as he fired off phone calls one after another.

“Selena, I know I messed up,” he sighed heavily. “I didn’t think it would blow up like this. The kids just seemed so bored, stuck at home all the time. I thought a quick trip to the flower and bird market might cheer them up. How was I supposed to know the paparazzi would still be out that late?”
Selena’s expression didn’t budge.

“You think that’s what I came here to talk to you about?”
Chris looked up, trying to soften her with a grin. “Come on, Selena. Alyssa and Nick missed you like crazy. I thought if I sneaked them over to Guardia for a few days, once you were done with work, I’d quietly send them back–no harm done.”
Rachel didn’t say much more–after all, Chris had more pressing matters to deal with right
now.
“Take care of your own mess first. We’ll meet up again later.”
“What about Alyssa and Nick?”
“Of course I’m taking them with me,” Selena said firmly. “Do you want the paparazzi catching you all together again?”
Chris had nothing left to say. “Selena… what about James?”
“I’ll talk to him.”
“You’re the best,” he beamed, pulling her into a quick hug before turning to wave enthusiastically at Sarah and Harry.
Rachel rolled her eyes and pushed him back. “If anything comes up, let me know. This isn’t going to blow over anytime soon.”
“Don’t worry,” Chris said with a grin. “I’ve got you.”
Just then, the front door flew open, and his sister stormed in, fire in her eyes.
“Chris, I’m going to chop you into pieces!”
Rachel had already gathered the two kids and, together with Sarah and Harry, slipped out the side door and headed back to her apartment.
After a few hours of chaos, Rachel had no choice but to accept the fact that the two little ones were now in Guardia.
In the car, Harry broke the silence. “Rachel, shouldn’t you introduce us now?”
Sarah quickly chimed in, “Yeah, you should!”
Rachel snapped back to attention and began introducing the kids. “This is Mr. Rhodes, and this is Ms. Wales. I’ve told you about them many times before, remember?”
