Cameron’s Lab
Cameron laughs as he hears the wolves cry for help. He knows they can not go anywhere, and no one can hear them. Nevertheless, Cameron does not feel sorry for them or any other wolf. Cameron hates being a
werewolf, and he is looking for a way to stop this curse. He does not care if he tortures the werewolves as he
knows one day they will thank him for releasing them from the curse of being a werewolf. He is ashamed of
himself for being such a foul creature. Cameron will free his whole family from this curse once he gets a
cure. He does not believe in the Moon Goddess or other gods as a scientist. He has tried so many scientific formulas to find the cure that he feels he is on the verge of a breakthrough. As long as Blaze does not know
what he is up to and keeps funding him, he will be fine and have the cure in a few months.
“Let us go. I am your mate, and you are torturing the wolves! Why don’t you torture me? Are you afraid to feel
what I feel?” Madison asks. He found her a few months ago working in a bar owned by the Crimson Moon
Pack. He accepted her as his mate, and she happily accepted him, not knowing what she let herself into.
Cameron wants to experiment with the mate bond and see why it exists. Why only in werewolves and not
creatures like vampires, witches and even humans. Madison is from the Crimson Moon Pack, and she has tried reaching out to any one of them, but with no luck, as Cameron has them all locked up in a bunker
underground. Cameron does not even listen to her as he concentrates on the last results of his latest
experiment.
“Failure again! Why can I not get this right? We have the DNA of humans and wolves. Why can I not remove
the wolf DNA?” Cameron talks to himself.
“Because the Moon Goddess created us, and you are trying to play goddess,” Madison says.
“Shut up! You are a distraction, and I don’t even know why I accepted you as my mate anymore. This mate
bond thing is driving me crazy, and my wolf is restless. I hate the bloody thing inside me,” Cameron says.
“He is part of you, and you can not kill him without dying yourself. You saw that with about ten wolves since I
came here. The Goddess alone knows how many you had killed before I got here,” Madison says for the cage she is locked in. The basement roof is silver, and only the place where Cameron is working has no silver. So
he wants the wolves to be weaker than him when he takes them out and injects them with chemicals or
drugs. Cameron keeps his wolf back, and his wolf is sad as he knows Cameron wants to kill him and hates
him. The silver also prevents the wolves from changing into wolf form.
Madison knows she has to reach out to his wolf. He needs to stop being such a wimp and come out and take
Cameron on. She is in the corner in a cage but still under the silver roof. If only she could find a way for her
wolf to talk to Cameron’s wolf, but her wolf is weak and sleeps most of the time as the silver weakens her.
“Shadow, can you hear me?” Madison asks her wolf.
“Madison, I can hear you, but I feel so weak and want to sleep all the time,” Shadow says. Mdison knows it
is the effect the silver has on her wolf.
“I am so sorry I got you into this,” Madison says.
“We got ourselves into this if only Falco would talk to me, but he is sad as his human rejects him. Falco thought once Cameron got us, he would change and accept his fate as a werewolf. Instead, Falso feels guilty for leading us into this trap,” Shadow says.
“It is not his fault,” Madison says.

“I told him a million times,” Shadow says.
“Then tell him if he feels guilty, he needs to push the human side of Cameron into the darkness and take
over,” Madison says.
“Surely his love for me should make him stronger and let him take over Cameron, even if it is only for a while,” Shadow says. She never thought of asking him to save them. Cameron hardly sleeps, but he sleeps on the couch in his lab when he does. He does not want to leave his lab, only to get food and other supplies. Blaze thinks he is overseas and working hard to get more degrees. That is why Blaze keeps sending him money.
“As soon as Cameron takes a nap, you talk to Falco,” Madison says to Shadow.
“I will try if I can stay awake,” Shadow says.
“I will wake you up as soon as he falls asleep,” Madison assures Shadow.
“Then I will go back to sleep now,” Shadow says.
Cameron has completed the mate bond with Madison. He marked her and slept with her the first night, but after feeling that love and the strong bond, Cameron was afraid to give in to what he was and become a werewolf in every word. So he never touched Madison again and locked her up in a cage, so he could not feel her and her wolf so much since they were under the silver roof. Madison sits in her cell and looks at Cameron
working.
“You will not be able to break with your wolf. You know it. He will be with you forever,” Madison mocks Cameron. Sometimes, she can get under his skin, and he wishes he could kill her without feeling his pain. Cameron hates feeling pain. He can not stand the pain, and even if he likes to inflict it, he is a coward and will never look for pain if he can avoid it.
Cameron works too late. Then he lies down on his couch to take a nap. As soon as Madison hears him snoring light, she wakes Shadow up. However, Shadow does not waste time as Cameron does not sleep long, and she knows she needs to convince Falco to stand up against his human.
“Falco, can you hear me? Are you awake?” Shadow asks.
“Yes, I am awake. But, darling, how can I help you?” Falco asks.
“You have to help us. I am getting weaker by the day. I can not stay under this silver roof anymore,” Shadow
says.
“How can I help you? My human does not want me, and I feel like I want to die,” Falco says.
“Well, you can take over and stop feeling sorry for yourself. You are stronger than Cameron is,” Shadow says.
“I can not take over my human. He will not allow me,” Falco says again.
“You can and you will if you want to save Madison and me,” Shadow says.
“I am not as strong–willed as you are as he rejected me since he got me. We only shifted once, and he was in so much pain he swore never to do it again,” Falco says.
“Ahh, so that is it! Cameron is very afraid of pain. He does not like it, so he does not want a wolf. The stupid thing, if he only shifted again, he would not feel the pain anymore,” Shadow says.
“I will make him shift again, and if he still does not want to be a werewolf, I will take over. You are right. I can not go on like this. Damn, l’am a wolf! I can not let a mere human order me around!” Falco says. He must

save his mate. He loves her, and he can feel her weakness and pain. So he will let Cameron feel the pain of his mate as well. Cameron is a coward! He hates pain. He, as Cameron’s wolf, always tried to protect him from pain, but from today on, he will make Cameron feel pain like never before until he shifts. Cameron wakes up in pain. His stomach is paining, and he does not know why. He has pain, as if he is trapped under a silver roof. He looks at his mate. Is she doing it?
“Stop what you are doing to me, or I will kill you!” Cameron shouts.
“I am doing nothing,” Madison says. Shadow told her everything and what Falco was planning.
“I am the one letting you feel your mate’s pain! I am the one that always protected you from that pain and took it all on me. But, it ends now,” Cameron hears his wolf in his head for the first time since he told his stupid wold he hates him and does not want him.
“Get out of my head and go back to your corner,” Cameron says, trying to push his wolf back, but Falco does not allow it. Instead, he stands his ground against his human.
“I want to shift,” Falco says.
“No, it hurts, and I hate pain,” Cameron says.
“Coward! You can inflict pain on others, but you are afraid of pain when it comes to yourself. Shift, coward!”
Falco demands.
“NO!! Go back to your corner,” Cameron shouts. Falco has enough and overpowers Cameron but keeps him conscious so he can feel the shift. Falco shifts, and Cameron is surprised that the second shift he did does not hurt at all. He can feel his bones move into position, and he can feel himself turning into a wolf, but it does not hurt. Finally, Falco walks over to the cages where the werewolves and other creatures are held and open them. He then walks to the door and breaks it down, setting them free.
“What are you doing? It is my work and my lab rats you just set free. Falco walks over to his mate’s cage and
lets Madison out.
“NO! I can not lose her,” Cameron shouts in Falco’s head. Madison walks over to the lab where all the computers and things are standing. She starts destroying it. All his data and his papers are gone. She then looks at Falco and sets the lab on fire! She changes into Shadow, and Falco follows Shadow as they run free through the woods to the Crimson Moon Pack. It is time someone tells Blaze what Cameron was up to. Madison had saved Cameron’s laptop as proof. She wants to show Blaze Walker what his brother was doing
with Blaze’s money.
Madison hopes Blaze can help his brother as Madison still loves him even after he was so cruel to her. Madison has the laptop in a bag on Shadow’s back. As soon as they reach the Crimson Moon Pack, the guards recognise Cameron by his smell and take him and Madison straight to Alpha Blaze and his Luna Sebrina. Cameron remains in his wolf form as Madison shifts and borrows a dress from one of the omegas. The guards take her and Cameron’s wolf into the packhouse. Then to the office that Bla. and Sebrina are sharing now. They knock and explain that Cameron and his mate are there as Madison shows them the mark Cameron gave her and explains to the guards that she is Cameron’s mate. She also explained that Cameron could not change back to his human form before she talked to Alpha Blaze Walker. The guards knock on the Alpha’s office door and walk in as soon as he says enter.
“Alpha Blaze, here is a young lady with Cameron in his wolf form, and she wants to talk to you. She also asked that you do not demand Cameron to change before she talked to you,” The guards say to Blaze. Blaze

and Sebrina look at each other and frown. What a strange request. Madison walks in with Cameron in his
wolf form.
“Sorry, Alpha, Luna, for bothering you, but your brother needs help,” Madison says as she explains everything. She takes out the laptop, and Blaze is amazed at how evil and cruel his brother is. He looks at everything on the laptop–every video of every wolf and creature that suffered under Cameron’s hands. Blaze is furious as he knows his money has funded this. How can he have been so stupid?
“Leave me alone with him,” Blaze says.
“Please, don’t hurt him. He is my mate, Alpha. I love him. He needs help, and I came here to ask you for help,” Madison pleas for Cameron.
“I will not hurt him, but you are right. He needs help, and I will help him where I can, but first, I have to teach him a lesson,” Blaze says.
“Honey, so not hurt him! You know we can feel each other’s pain sometimes,” Sebrina says to Blaze as she looks at Madison. The wolf mates do not always feel each other’s pain, only when their wolves allow it or when the wolves are very close to each other.
“I will not hurt him, but I will have a talk with him, and he will have to work hard to undo what he did,” Blaze says. Sebrina takes Madison away and assures her that Blaze will keep his word.
