Lucas wrapped an arm around her shoulders and asked gently, “Why haven’t you told your mom you’re back?”

“But I’m the general manager of Walton Corporation, and the youngest heiress of the Walton family.
“My sister is… well, and Mom’s getting older. So, it’s my responsibility to take this on.”
Lucas pressed his lips together.
He looked at her determined expression and didn’t know what else to say.
But he had to admit that Aurora had her reasons and burdens.
