Lucas knew there was no point in saying more.
Dragging it out wouldn’t change anything.
Looking at Aurora now, it was obvious her mind was made up.
If he kept trying to stop her, he’d only come off as unreasonable.

Lucas looked at her seriously. “Alright, I understand.”

Seeing that Lucas didn’t try to stop her anymore, Aurora felt genuinely comforted.
She had expected to spend more time convincing him.
