Just reading the message, Aurora could already picture the look on Leonard’s face.

Holding his sister, caught between surprise and happiness–that image alone warmed Aurora’s heart.
She quickly typed a reply. “No need to thank me. Bring her out again sometime. I really like Nora.
“As for your parents, there’s no need for that either. I didn’t do much. It’s just that Nora’s doing well on her own.”
Leonard smiled the moment he read her reply.
It was exactly what he’d expected her to say.
She wasn’t the kind of person who liked being indebted, something he’d come to understand clearly over the past few days.
Still grinning, he texted back: “Alright, if you won’t accept my parents‘ thanks, then I’ll just have to find a way to than myself one day.”
Aurora chuckled to herself, shaking her head at his persistence. She didn’t bother replying again.
