Adelaide finally got off the car, I don’t know how long it took.

Zayne raised his hand, and the man next to him handed him a
piece of paper.
He showed Adelaide, “Ms. Pierce, I believe you have heard about the incident with the Hicks Group. I have been law- abiding, just doing my job properly. But Sir Pierce wants me to take the blame and go to jail. I have elderly parents and young children to support. If I really go in, how will this whole family
survive?”

Adelaide was silent, her eyes scanning over the contents of the
paper.
After a while, she asked, “Do you want me to take the blame?”
Zayne laughed deeply, “Ms. Pierce is smart.”
Adelaide was speechless: “Everyone knows I’ve never been to the company, asking me to take the blame, isn’t that a
giveaway?”
“Only you are the most suitable.” Zayne said decisively, “Sir Pierce only needs a scapegoat, so as long as you voluntarily surrender, Sir Pierce will turn a blind eye. Even if Ms. Pierce goes in, I believe Mr. Pierce will find a way to bail you out.”
“In the end, you definitely came out unscathed, but if it were me, I’d probably end up in jail for several years.”

by me for you.”

Zayne wiped the sweat off his forehead, a smile appearing on his face again, “Ms. Pierce, let’s not suffer any longer, just sign
the paper, it’ll be quick.”
