Teresa asked, “Did Mr. Pierce think she wanted you to
accompany her?”
Spencer felt really uncomfortable with that, and he wasn’t as
nice to Teresa as before. “Ms. Sampson, you’re just Adele’s
friend.”
Teresa corrected him: “She was the best friend.”
Spencer had a cold face, stopped talking, turned around and left.
Looking at his back, Teresa muttered, What are they all up to,
all ganging up on Adele.

When Adelaide was about to put her phone on airplane mode,
she received a message from Teresa’s other number.
“Spencer just came to my store looking for you, I’m sure he
didn’t have good intentions. Take it easy and don’t let him catch.
you going to Eldoria.”
She replied to the message and then switched to airplane mode.
But I felt restless in my heart.

Spencer wouldn’t be better at solving it than Garrett, and he
even had the idea of taking her abroad to settle down.
The more she thought about it, the more annoyed she got.
This whole family, they’re all crazy.
She rubbed her forehead, forced her mind to empty, and
stopped thinking about all these annoying things. When she
opened her eyes again, her gaze fell on the opposite side.
That was Reginald’s seat.
Just then, a flight attendant was standing next to me, slightly
-bending over, and sweetly asked, “Mr. Thorton, as usual, would
you like me to prepare some lemon water for you?”
The flight attendant’s voice was neither too light nor too heavy,
Adelaide could hear it.
Her first reaction was like, I know him.
But then, at that moment, Nathan in the seat next to her
suddenly leaned half of his body towards her. Before Adelaide
could even be startled, he whispered, “This airline, Mr. Thorton.
is a shareholder!”

Nathan laughed flawlessly, “The flight attendants of this airline

Adelaide was so embarrassed, she didn’t even think much about

misunderstandings, because when they are magnified later on,
it’s like a huge nuclear bomb.
He couldn’t help but sigh in his heart.
His assistant really gave him a headache. Maybe he should talk
to the boss about a raise.
Just a little incident, Adelaide pretended it never happened, so it
wouldn’t get more awkward thinking about it.
As she was flipping through a magazine, the flight attendant
from earlier came over with a cup of tea, bent down, and
politely said, “Ms. Pierce, here is your pear juice.”
Pear juice?!
Can you believe there was pear juice on the plane?!
She exclaimed, “I didn’t want tea.”

The flight attendant smiled and said, “This is Mr. Thorton’s
request, saying you like to drink pear juice.””
Adelaide was once again stunned.
Reginald actually knew about my niche hobby!
She started liking pear juice this year. Even Garrett thought she
liked lattes, but she reminded him a few times and he never
remembered. But since he made lattes for her every day, she
didn’t want to disappoint him, so she didn’t bother whether she
liked pear juice or lattes.
She hid her emotions in her eyes, smiled and took it, saying
thank you.
Lowering her gaze, she took a sip, the sweetness filling her entire mouth. Raising her eyebrows again, her gaze
involuntarily fell on the opposite side, where Reginald was reading a magazine, his left arm resting on the armrest,
occasionally flipping pages to reveal his long and beautiful left
hand.
