“Tell me, did you really go and be a third party to steal someone else’s lover? Or did you really go and play the role of a home- wrecker?”
Reginald took another drag of his cigarette, looking at that cold and beautiful face. He remembered how this woman had stood in front of him three years ago, pretending to be tough and fearless.
He really wanted to just snatch the person over.
But that’s no fun, what he wanted was for her to stay by his side wholeheartedly.
I waited for three years, just a little while longer. Time, he’s got plenty of.
“Oh my god! What’s the meaning of your silence! Did you really do that!?” The friend’s voice started to tremble. “They just got
married, you know.“”
Reginald was speechless: “Don’t assume everyone is as dirty-
minded as you.”
“Aren’t you shameless yet? You’ve been thinking about her three years ago.”
Reginald was about to say something when he saw Adelaide suddenly answer the phone and then change her expression. He squinted his eyes and said, “Alright, we’ll talk later” The call ended, he put out his cigarette and walked into the living room.
Adelaide saw him come in and said, “Mr. Thorton, sorry, I have to go back to the Pierce’s place now.”
He was in a bad mood, “Is something urgent?”
“Yeah, urgent.” Adelaide grabbed her tablet, didn’t say much, and left quickly.
Reginald had a cold and indifferent look in his eyes.
Now the Pierce family is looking for Adelaide for something urgent, isn’t it just that thing.
On the way to the Pierce’s place, Adelaide gave Teresa a call.
She said, “Garrett slept with Amanda.”
In an instant, the cursing started, especially loud.
Adelaide said calmly, “Just now Finley called and said Cornelius
Barnard and Evelyn Barnard are already at the Pierce’s place,
asking me to come over and discuss how to resolve this.”
Teresa sensed something was wrong, “Adele, this isn’t right”
Adelaide sneered, “Well, Finley wouldn’t let me go. So he just made it clear, and then both families sat down to deal with it together. The result is that Garrett and I got divorced, and Amanda married him.”
“Why is he so cunning and crafty!” Teresa squeezed out her voice through her teeth, “You’re not even his own flesh and blood, why should he pin you at the Pierce’s place!”

She dropped the ball.

“Tess, now I need you to help me find someone.”
“Okay, you said.”
Forty minutes later, Adelaide arrived at the Pierce’s place, and the living room was dead quiet.
Finley and Jeanette, Cornelius and Evelyn, Garrett kneeling on
the ground, and Amanda sitting next to Jeanette, but no sign of
Spencer.
Spencer wasn’t around, which was actually a good thing for her.
“Mom, Dad.” Adelaide walked up to them and greeted them one by one, “Sir Barnard, Madam Barnard.”
Hearing her call like that, Cornelius and Evelyn looked regretful, understanding Adelaide’s attitude.
Garrett, who was kneeling on the ground, immediately looked
up at her, as if wondering why she didn’t call him mom and dad.
Adelaide couldn’t even be bothered to spare him a second glance.
Finley spoke up at this point, “I just called Adele and came clean about everything. In the end, this is a scandal for both of our families, and it’s because we didn’t properly discipline our children that they ended up making such a big mistake.”
