break up? We all thought you two were perfect for each other.

The conversation wasn’t finished yet, Garrett gave him a cold
look and said, “Isn’t it a bad time to gossip now?”
He touched his nose and walked away with a gloomy face.

Reginald looked funny when he was hopping around. “So
what?”
He took a deep breath, exhaled smoke, his face blurred,
sharpening his features.
“I know Adele better than anyone after 22 years of relationship,
and no one can shake the bond between us. Adele is just using
you to make me jealous,” Garrett declared firmly.
“And what else, keep going,” Reginald continued smoking, his deep eyes showing unclear emotions.
“Mr. Thorton, you can have any woman you want. Why do you
have to go after someone who is already taken?” Garrett asked.
Reginald raised an eyebrow, “Just three more days.”
Garrett heard the number and his eyebrows shot up twice,
“This is between us.”
“Does that mean Amanda can handle things between you
guys?” Reginald asked nonchalantly.
“I never expected Mr. Thorton to be so despicable,” Garrett

“Garrett clenched his fist, knuckles cracking.”
In Reginald’s eyes, Garrett was just a little brother, not worth paying attention to. Because his tactics were nowhere near as good as Spencer’s in dealing with Adelaide. And to make
matters worse, he was Adelaide’s ex–husband.
The diaphragm contracted.
He took another puff of his cigarette, “Do you know why I’m
standing here listening to you babble?”
Garrett was about to speak when Reginald raised his chin and
said, “Look over there.”
He turned around and saw Adelaide striding towards him. He wiped away the hostility on his face and put on a pleasing smile.
“Adele.”
Adelaide was furious and pointed at Garrett, saying, “I don’t want to slap you, because this is the Schmitt’s villa and today is my teacher’s anniversary! But if you insist on causing trouble here, I won’t let you off the hook!”
