Chapter 13
Representative? Share transfer?
Hearing these two terms, Mason’s mind conjured up that bride with exquisite makeup who resembled me.
Could there be some connection?
But he quickly dismissed this thought.
If you asked me about the historical background of any tourist destination, I could recite it backwards and forwards.
But when it came to discussing corporate share operations, I could fall asleep on the spot.
With questions in mind, Mason went to the company.
Tilden Family Aviation – Conference Room
As soon as he entered, he saw a woman sitting in an office chair with her back to everyone.
“Miss Astor, Mr. Mason has arrived.”
The secretary announced.
Mason approached step by step. The closer he got, the more anxious his heart became.
When he was just one step away, the woman slowly turned around in her office chair.
A familiar face came into Mason’s view.
“Elodie-”
Mason stepped forward, wanting to embrace the woman, but was blocked by a man beside her.
The woman wore a black fitted business suit and seven–centimeter stiletto heels.
I preferred casual wear and would never dress like this.
The aura she exuded was completely different from mine.
The woman smiled and said: “Hello, I’m her sister, Astor Freya.”
“My sister has entrusted me to take over the shares that Mr. Mason transferred to her.”
“Since Mr. Mason is here, let’s begin.”

Mason was slightly stunned.
He knew I had a sister, but hadn’t expected us to be identical twins.
However, while he could give his shares to me, he couldn’t let anyone else touch them.
So Mason spoke up:
“Hello Miss Freya, I’m Elodie’s boyfriend. Regarding the share transfer, please have Elodie come in person.”
Freya’s expression remained unchanged, but she shook her head.
“She won’t be coming.”
“Why?” Mason was puzzled.
Freya’s gaze fell on him.
“Because Mr. Mason is already married. My sister has no interest in married men.”
Mason explained: “That was just a fake wedding to help a friend recover her memory. Elodie knew about it too. No one in the country knows about this.”
“My wife will only be Elodie.”
Freya’s lips curved slightly. She took a newspaper from the man beside her and threw it to him.
“Fake marriage? Mr. Mason, it seems you haven’t read the newspapers in a while.”
Mason caught the newspaper and opened it.
The front page headline read prominently:
“Tilden Family Aviation Heir Mason Weds Girlfriend Nova in Spain”
The date was one week ago.
His heart sank as he looked at his secretary: “What’s this about?”
The secretary looked embarrassed:
“We don’t know how the media got this information. We kept trying to call you, but you never answered.”
Mason remembered that for the past week, he had been searching for me and hadn’t paid attention to company
matters.
Who leaked this news to American media?

Could it be Nova?
Freya had no patience to watch them play detective. Her attitude was firm.
“Mr. Mason, I don’t have time to waste with you. Since you’re unwilling, talk to my lawyer.”
With that, she turned and left.
Mason watched her retreating figure and called Roman.
That evening, when Mason’s friends heard about his situation, one of them–a rich second generation named Charles–gasped.
“When women get ruthless, they can bankrupt you.”
He suddenly remembered:
“She’s being so ruthless–could it be because of what we said at the restaurant last time?”
Mason frowned:
“What did you say?”
