Chapter 12
“I’d also like to know–are you going to keep pretending to have amnesia?”
Mason strode into the hospital room, his voice ice–cold.
Nova sat on the bed, completely stunned.
“Mason, what did you hear?”
She tried to stay calm.
Mason slammed Nova’s ID documents, which she’d used for hospital registration, onto the bed with a “smack.”
“So Elodie wasn’t lying to me. You really were pretending to have amnesia to deceive me.”
“I wasn’t!”
Nova quickly explained: “You’ve misunderstood, Mason.”
“Hazel, quickly tell him it’s not like that, right?”
Hazel beside her turned pale, not knowing what to say.
After hesitating for a long time, she said quietly:
“Nova really can’t bear to lose you. Don’t misunderstand–she just loves you too much.”
Mason sneered: “Misunderstand?”
“Nova, when you sent Elodie those recovery files I gave you–was that also a misunderstanding?”
Nova was startled, not expecting me to have told Mason about this.
But she had prepared her explanation long ago:
“I only shared what you gave me because I considered her a good friend.”
“You said she was your best friend, so I treated her as a friend too.”
“Now you tell me you love her. Mason, you’ve been deceiving her all along too.”
Nova turned the tables, her eyes reddening again.
Mason was momentarily speechless.

While He Moved into Suite 3601 with His Ex: I Claimed My Sister’s Billionaire Vow
Chapter 17
He suddenly realized that his harm to me was even worse than what Nova had done,
But all of this was caused by Nova’s fake amnesia.
If not for that, he would never have done those things.
His world would only have me in it.
Mason didn’t argue with her further, only saying: “Whether you’ve recovered your memory or not, the doctor will tell me.”
With that, Mason turned and left.
“Mason, don’t go-”
Mason drove home in a rush.
Since I had returned to resign, I should be home by now,
He couldn’t wait to rush through the front door, but found the house pitch black.
He turned on the lights–everything in the house was untouched.
“Elodie-”
Without even changing his shoes, he rushed into the master bedroom. The room was empty too.
It looked just as tidy as when we’d left.
Only half a month without occupants had left a thin layer of dust on the desk.
No one had been back.
So where could I be?
He sat on the bed and took out his phone to call me.
The other end said: “The number you have dialed is currently unreachable. Please try again later.”
Every time he’d called me during this period, he got this message.
Mason wanted to find me.
But he realized he had no idea where to look.
He was usually busy with flights and rarely home. Every time he returned, he could only spend one night with me.
A hurried sleep, then a hurried departure the next day.

Chapter 12
He knew my body’s sensitive spots, but never knew where I liked to go, what friends I had, or who to contact if I
went missing.
I had mentioned having a sister, but he’d never thought to meet her.
Mason suddenly felt deeply powerless.
On the master bedroom desk, my wedding dress design sketches were still displayed.
His heart felt like it was being squeezed tight.
Before going abroad, I had been so excited about retrieving the wedding dress I’d designed myself, but he had let Nova wear it for photos…
At this moment, his phone rang.
As soon as he answered, the secretary from Tilden Family Aviation sounded tense.
“Mr. Mason, did you transfer 51% of Tilden Family Aviation’s shares?”
Mason frowned: “What’s wrong?”
The secretary said: “You’d better come to the company. There’s a representative here who says they want to conduct a share transfer with you.”
