Chapter 10
Nova was stunned, tears immediately flowing down her face.
“Mason, but we’re already married. What do you mean by saying all this?”
Mason said: “What I mean is, my marriage to you is fake.”
He paused, then added:
“I’m sorry, Nova. I just realized I can’t lose myself to help you.”
After saying this, he ignored Nova and immediately left the church. He urgently wanted to see me.
“Mason…
After Mason left, bridesmaid Hazel entered the dressing room.
She saw Nova standing there, tears falling one after another.
She had just heard Mason’s words outside the door.
She cursed loudly: “Mason is such a bastard, a scumbag. It’s all Elodie’s fault.”
She comforted Nova: “Nova, don’t cry anymore.”
Hearing the commotion, friends all gathered around.
Hazel’s words were immediately refuted by Roman, who had only arrived in Spain at the last moment.
‘Nova lost her memory, Hazel, but you didn’t lose yours.”
‘Elodie was Mason’s girlfriend to begin with. She’s been enduring Mason helping your good friend with her illness. Now you’re cursing them like this–isn’t that too much?”
Once Roman spoke up, other friends also defended Mason.
“Yeah, Mason has been taking such good care of Nova this whole time. Hazel, don’t be so ungrateful.”
‘Hazel, is Nova the only victim here? Mason helps with medical treatment and gets called a scumbag for it. You think Mason’s a scumbag–what have you done yourself?”
All the friends chose to support Mason.
Hazel was speechless, while Nova was even more upset, crouching on the ground crying.

Chapter 10
She thought she had already won Mason back.
She didn’t expect to still lose to me.
Now her friends disappointed her even more.
She thought they supported her.
She didn’t realize they would only choose her when it was between me and her.
Once Mason was involved, they would choose Mason without hesitation.
Meanwhile, Mason raced all the way to the Continental Hotel.
He rushed upstairs and urgently knocked on my door.
No one opened it.
A cleaning service worker passed by: “Sir, this room was just cleaned. There’s no one there.”
Mason’s heart sank.
“Open the door. My girlfriend has been missing for a day. I need to find her.”
After confirming the information, the front desk helped him open the door.
After entering, the room was empty–all my things and luggage were gone.
He saw a thick stack of papers on the desk.
“Mason, isn’t Elodie here?”
Just then, his friends also arrived at my room.
Mason ignored them and walked to the desk.
He picked up the thick stack of papers and looked through them one by one.
The more he read, the more his hands shook.
“How could these be here?”
Roman heard him say this and stepped forward.
He looked carefully and couldn’t help but sigh.

Chapter 10
“Mason, these words are too cruel. Even if you don’t love Elodie, she still spent three years with you.”
Mason was in unbearable pain–even outsiders found it cruel.
He didn’t dare imagine how sad I must have been when I saw this.
“What’s this?” Roman picked up another paper nearby.
Mason took it and saw several lines written in Spanish:
“Mason, I now know that sincerity cannot be exchanged for sincerity. Rather than holding up a broken umbrella, it’s better to get rained on. Three years of time–consider it my gift to you. I don’t want you anymore.”
‘I’m taking my shares as compensation for all these years.”
‘I hope we never meet again.”
