The private room fell completely silent. Everyone was stunned by her presence. No one dared challenge her or even look her in the eye

The collectors, believing the Kaur family had fallen beyond salvation and had no way of repaying the debt, had taken out their anger on them with humiliation and abuse.
Olivia’s mother, Natalie Kaur, hadn’t been spared either. She had fallen naked from a high–rise hotel, dying in front of the public in the most disgraceful way imaginable.
When Olivia had rushed to the scene, she had found Natalie lying in a pool of blood, her body covered with a suit jacket–that jacket had preserved the last bit of Natalie’s dignity.

Maybe it had been because of his old age, or maybe fear of karma–Morgan had started trying to do good and had searched for Erica, wanting to make up for his past mistakes.
Unfortunately, Erica had already passed away. So Morgan had turned to Olivia.
But Morgan had always been a selfish man. He hadn’t been willing to let the Wilson family’s wealth fall into an outsider’s hands, so he had only agreed to help the Kaur family if Olivia married Dylan.

The day she’d gone to Morgan to tell him about the trip, he’d said that if she gave birth to a Wilson heir, he’d give a portion of Novara Group’s shares to her in his will. Otherwise, her name wouldn’t appear in it at all.
In Morgan’s mind, as long as she had a child, whatever he gave her would ultimately go to that child. The money would still stay within the Wilson family.
So, Olivia had to have a baby. Even if it wasn’t Dylan’s, as long as Morgan witnessed her pregnancy, that would be enough.
