Chapter 48
Olivia strode over and demanded in an angry voice, “Are you out of your mind? How did you even find this place? What exactly do you want?”
Julian looked up at her, a smirk tugging at his lips. He didn’t say a word–but the answer was obvious. He was here for her.
Olivia bit her lip and warned him sharply, “I’m serious. You need to leave. And from now on, stay away from anyone I know. I told you before—no one can find out about us.”
Julian replied, “That was the rule during the deal. But now that you ended it early, I’m not bound by those rules anymore.”
Olivia was furious. “If I’d known you’d be this shameless and clingy, I never would’ve picked you in the first place.”
Julian’s face darkened. He grabbed her wrist and yanked her toward him, making her stumble right into his arms.
Olivia instinctively opened her mouth to scream.
But before she could make a sound, Julian reminded her, “Dylan’s in the collection room looking for coffee beans. If you want him to hear, go ahead and
scream.”
She clamped her mouth shut and bit her lip hard, forcing the scream back down. “You knew he was home, and you still pulled this? Aren’t you afraid he’ll
catch us?”
Julian didn’t seem the least bit concerned. “So what if he does? He wouldn’t dare lay a hand on me. Even if he tried, he couldn’t beat me. What’s there to
be afraid of?”
Olivia snapped, “Sure, he won’t touch you, but he won’t think twice about coming after me! Do you even care what happens to me?”
Julian said calmly, “Relax. I wouldn’t just stand by and let that happen. If he ever tries to hit you, we’ll deal with him together. Sound good?”
Olivia felt a chill. “What do you mean, ‘deal with him“?”
Julian replied casually, “Get rid of him.”
Olivia felt her skin crawl. “You’re insane.”
Julian tightened his arms around her, holding her close, and said, “You drove me insane. I missed you so much while we were apart. I thought I was going to lose it.” Then he kissed her on the lips hard.
Olivia started to struggle. She felt like she was about to go crazy herself.
Footsteps echoed from the direction of the collection room–they were getting closer. Dylan was coming. But Julian still had no intention of letting her
go!
Olivia was so panicked that she was about to cry. In desperation, she bit down hard on Julian’s lip. She immediately jumped to her feet and wiped her mouth fiercely. Looking down, she saw Julian stick out his tongue to lick the blood off his lip.
Just then, Dylan came out of the collection room, holding a coffee bean canister.
He said, “I’m not sure how this Black Ivory Coffee tastes. I don’t drink coffee. I usually have the herbal tea my wife makes for me. Go ahead and give it a shot. If you don’t like it, I’ll find you something else.”
As he walked into the living room, he spotted Olivia. He noticed she looked a little off and was about to ask, but before he could say anything, Olivia asked, “What is he doing in our house?”
Dylan explained, “Mr. Hudson will be staying in Hillbron for a while. Since it’s not convenient for him to stay with Grandpa, Grandpa arranged for him to stay with us.

“He figured we’re about the same age and might have a lot in common–and he thought I could show Mr. Hudson around a bit
Since it was arranged by Herbert, Olivia couldn’t exactly object. Annoyed, she turned and went upstairs.
Dylan sensed something was off with Olivia, but then again, she’d been acting weird ever since he’d pressured her into getting pregnant by some fandom guy, so he didn’t dwell on it.
He turned his gaze to Julian and noticed a fresh bite mark on his lip. “What happened to your mouth?” he asked, puzzled.
Julian licked his lips and said calmly, “I was too hungry and there was nothing to eat, so I tried to chew on myself.”
Dylan’s mouth twitched. “I’ll have call some staff over to make dinner. Just hang in there for a bit!”
Julian nodded. “Thanks. Mind if I take a look around your place on my own?
“Go ahead,” Dylan replied. “Everywhere’s fine–just stay out of the study.”
Julian stood up. “Got it.” Then he headed upstairs.
After Olivia got back to her room, she went into the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face, finally managing to calm herself down.
There was no doubt–Julian was here for her. She needed to figure out a way to make him give up and stop bothering her.
Her pregnancy symptoms had already begun to show–she wouldn’t be able to hide the pregnancy much longer. And with them living under the same roof, it’d be even easier for Julian to catch on.
She needed to get him to leave, and fast. But she had no idea how to do it. Suddenly, an idea hit her.
She mused, ‘Last night, I told Julian I was madly in love with Dylan, but he didn’t buy it.
‘Maybe he’s seen through the act, figured out I don’t actually love Dylan, and thinks he still has a chance. That’s why he won’t let go. If I act like I’m head over heels for Dylan, will Julian finally give up?‘
All at once, Olivia knew exactly what she needed to do. She dried her face and walked out of the bathroom, only to see Julian strolling around her room, checking things out like he owned the place. “Why are you in my room?” she asked.
“Your husband said I could come in,” Julian replied.
“You sure about that?” Olivia asked. Even though Dylan hated her, there was no way he’d let another man in her room.
Julian nodded. “Yep. I told him I wanted to look around, and he said I could go anywhere I wanted.”
Olivia was speechless.
Julian’s lips curled into a lazy, mischievous smile. “I sniffed your bed, by the way. Just your scent–no one else’s. I also looked through your closet. It’s all
your stuff.
“You and your husband aren’t close at all. You sleep in separate rooms. Everything you told me last night was a lie, wasn’t it? He never planned to have a baby with you.”
Olivia shot back, “You don’t have to be in a bedroom to make a baby, you know.”
Julian replied, “But I just asked him. He said he’s never even slept with you.”
Shiyan’s eyes widened in disbelief. “He actually told you that?”
Julian raised an eyebrow, looking pleased. “He didn’t. You just confirmed it for me.”

Olivia flushed with anger, refusing to engage any further. She walked to her vanity, opened her laptop, and started working.
Julian followed, scooped her up, and sat down with her on his lap.
Olivia tried to get up, but he held her firmly in place. She didn’t want to waste energy arguing with him anymore. So she gave up and let him be.
