29 Chapter 29: The Blond Brat
Tang Li stood by the window with her arms crossed, gazing into the distant night sky, her eyes deep and remote. She understood the difficulties Qin Yueru faced as a mother, but that didn’t mean she should have to pay for Han Jifeng’s unfaithfulness.
The next day, Tang Li got up early.
Although she had no classes in the morning, she still got ready and went
out.
Tang Li went to the Capital Film Academy across the street.
Perhaps it was because she had so many injuries, the security guard looked at her more closely.
Tang Li wasn’t deterred and smiled gracefully at him.
Entering the gates of the Capital Movie Academy, she immediately felt an atmosphere starkly different from the Art College.
If studying at the Art College meant slacking off, then most of the students here at this academy had talents in acting, vocal arts, or other fields.
Tang Li followed the roadside signs to find the teaching building of the Capital Movie Academy.
By 8:20 AM, it was already class time.
She wandered from the first floor up to the sixth, and finally chose a classroom where a script–reading class was being held and slipped in through the back door.

Tang Li quietly sat down in the last row.
The chair turned, making a slight creaking noise.
A blond boy sitting in front with his legs crossed suddenly turned around and was taken aback to see someone new behind him. After a pause, he leaned back against his chair and asked Tang Li in a low voice, “I haven’t seen you before. Are you auditing the class? Which class are you from?”
Tang Li answered honestly, “I’m from the neighboring school.”
Far from looking down on her, the boy seemed more interested in chatting.
He sized up Tang Li from the side, covered his mouth with his hand, and asked, “Where did you get those injuries? They seem quite technically
intricate.”
Tang Li: “…”
“Let me tell you—”
The boy had just started speaking when a blackboard eraser flew straight towards him!
He dodged expertly by leaning to the side and looking up.
The blackboard eraser hit right on Tang Li’s backpack, raising a cloud of
chalk dust.
Teacher: “!!!”
In an instant, all heads in the classroom turned their way.
Tang Li didn’t stay much longer.

Teachers at the Capital Movie Academy generally didn’t like students from other schools sitting in.
So, before the teacher could angrily kick her out, she wisely got up and left.
Just as she was opening the back door, the teacher’s furious voice came through, “You again, you blond rascal! Our specialized courses are not taught to outsiders. If you’re from the neighboring school, then go back and attend classes there properly instead of causing trouble here!”
Tang Li turned her head back in response.
Then, some students started to tease, “He didn’t just sit in on your class, he’s been to Teacher Wang’s vocal music class, Teacher Ding’s aesthetics lecture, and Teacher Gong’s music analysis class as well.”
“And the time before last, he picked up a campus card and pretended to be a student from our school to attend the physical education class, only to be
chased out by Teacher Zhu with a feather duster.”
The blond boy had already stood up.
He took out a piece of xylitol gum from his mouth and deliberately stuck it
on the desk.
-He did so with an earnest flirtation that disgusted quite a few people.
The teacher was so annoyed that she rolled her eyes.
The blond boy shoved his hands into his pockets: “A bunch of yokels practicing tongue twisters, I’m out!”
As he passed Tang Li, he noticed her gaze and snorted, “What are you looking at? Never seen a privileged kid from a powerful family before, country bumpkin?”

“Oh.” Tang Li lifted the corners of her lips slightly: “Indeed, us country folks haven’t really seen many unruly children like you.”
After saying this, she left first.
As she went downstairs, Tang Li overheard the students discussing beside
her.
“Wasn’t the investor of ‘Original Sin‘ interested in casting Lai Yuaner as the supporting female role? Why are they still holding auditions? Two days have passed, and I haven’t seen them find any suitable candidates yet.”
