21 Chapter 21: Meeting Mr. Song Again
The hand reaching for the girl’s shoulder fell through, and Yu Guowen’s expression was inscrutable.
Seeing that Tang Li didn’t know how to appreciate favors, he sat back down: “Considering that you have repeatedly skipped classes since the beginning of the semester, the school leaders have discussed and decided to cancel your scholarship quota for this semester.”
Even though Tang Li was aloof, her basic course grades had always been among the top since her enrollment.
The two thousand yuan scholarship was also her living expenses for a
semester.

As he spoke, Yu Guowen looked at Tang Li: “Prepare yourself, you will move to the regular dormitory this afternoon.”
The regular dormitory building was located at the very back of the school.
Due to its outdated facilities, it has long been a residence for cafeteria staff.
Informed of this arrangement, Tang Li was still not the least bit agitated.
“Alright,” she nodded, then left.
Exiting the office, Tang Li checked the time–it was almost lunchtime- planning to head directly to the cafeteria. But out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a familiar, upright figure downstairs.
At noon, the brilliant sunlight fell on the lawn outside the administrative building.
The man stood with his hands behind him in front of the lawn, with a school leader next to him, talking about something.
Song Baiyan’s expression was usual, showing ample patience. His attire was much more casual than that night–a dark blue thin knit sweater, light gray casual trousers–softening his imposing aura, making him look even more refined and highlighting his mature male charm.
Tang Li involuntarily slowed her pace.
“Do you know about the music major, Fu Si, gathering outsiders to beat up a classmate?”
Behind Tang Li, passing girls whispered.
“How could we not know? It’s even posted on the campus website.”

Another girl, covering her mouth, whispered softly: “Didn’t the student council spread the word that Fu Si is fearless in the principal’s office, claiming his uncle is the Finance Minister?”
“No way, do you really believe what such a thug says?”
“If his uncle is the Finance Minister, why would he come to our third–rate school?”
“Setting aside other things, Fu Si is still pretty handsome.”
The voices of the girls faded as they walked away.
Tang Li looked down at the man downstairs, in her previous life she didn’t know there was a person like Fu Si at the school, and naturally, she didn’t know that Song Baiyan’s nephew was studying here.
As the conversation by the lawn drew to a close-
Tang Li quickly walked towards the elevator.
By the time she got downstairs, there was no one in front of the lawn.
Tang Li’s heart was somewhat racing.

No matter what the future holds, at least for now, the high–level Finance
