10 minutes later, the doctor came out with a few packs of medication in his hand.

Out of the pharmacy, she walked to the director and reached out her hand.
Ned asked doubtfully, “What?”
She clicked her tongue in disgust, thinking that Ned was not smart at all.

With her continuous publicity, Ned had been made out to be a stingy, bald, bad–tempered, and strict old man.
Along the way, Ned received countless dirty looks.
