Chapter 691
Chapter 69
Olivia let out a mocking laugh. “Your bad attitude toward me in the past only proved that you have poor manners.
“But when you brought a man home and forced me to sleep with a stranger, it not only showed that you have a bad character hut also prevelf that you don’t care about my dignity at all.
“That’s why you so brazenly trampled on my dignity, disregarded my feelings, and treated me like an object to be arranged. I can love someone with poor manners, but I won’t love someone with a bad character who doesn’t respect my personality.”
Dylan felt as if countless sharp thorns were densely piercing his heart, making it hard for him to breathe. He clenched his fists, which trembled uncontrollably.
Recalling that night and the way her eyes had gradually cooled, regret washed over him like a tidal wave.
His lips trembled as he offered a pale explanation. “I didn’t know the truth at that time.”
Olivia’s voice was cold. “A person with good character wouldn’t use such despicable means to trample on someone’s dignity just because of a misunderstanding.
“Moreover, ever since I married you, I have never done anything to hurt you. I have always been taking care of you. Even if you misunderstood me because of other people, you shouldn’t treat someone who has never hurt you in such a way.”
Dylan felt as if his throat was being strangled, and he couldn’t speak.
He thought to himself, ‘I don’t know why I did that back then. I’m not that kind of person.
‘I was raised with a good education and always treated everyone with humility and respect. I would even respect my competitors. So why did I do something so despicable to Olivia?‘
Seeing his pained expression, Olivia felt no internal stir. She took out her phone, preparing to check the data of her short drama. But just then, her phone rang–it was a call from Carol.
Olivia answered. “Aunt Carol, what can I do for you?”
Carol said with a smile, “I just saw the message you posted in the group about your pregnancy and wanted to call and congratulate you.
“You and Dylan have been married for three years, and finally, you have children on the way. Your position in the Wilson family will be even more secure now. You must take good care of yourself and avoid any accidents.”
Olivia smiled, “Thank you, Aunt Carol. I will.”
Carol continued, “It’s your first pregnancy, and you probably have a lot of questions. You don’t have any family around, and I can’t help but worry. How about this? I’ll come over and take care of you for a while. What do you think?”
Olivia declined politely. “No need. Mr. Wilson has already arranged for six maids to take care of me. That’s more than enough.”
Carol insisted, “That’s not the same. Care from outsiders can never be as considerate as care from family. And according to our customs, as long as there are family members around, when you’re pregnant, we should send someone to take care of you for a few days.
“It’s both a way to support you and to show our concern. Don’t you consider us family? Is that why you don’t want me to come and take care of you?”
Seeing no way out, Olivia had to agree. “Alright/thank you, Aunt Carol.”
Carol laughed. “It’s okay. Just wait. I’ll pack up and head over.”
After the meal was prepared, Olivia had Evelyn prepare a guest room and told her that Carol would be staying for a few days.

Chapter 69
In the evening, Carol arrived with a suitcase in tow. Debbie was with her, also dragging a suitcase.
Debbie dropped her suitcase, ran over to Olivia, and hooked her arm around Olivia’s, speaking affectionately “Ollie, my mom is older and duran slave much in common with you, so I came along to keep you company. You don’t mind, do you?”
Olivia smiled lightly, “Of course not. How thoughtful of you.” As she spoke, she subtly withdrew her arm.
Debbie didn’t care. Her mind was no longer focused on Olivia. She looked around.
This was her first time at Olivia and Dylan’s wedding house. The villa was much more luxurious than Kaur Manor.
The furnishings and some of the paintings appeared to be collectors‘ items, antiques of great value.
‘The Wilson family is indeed wealthy,‘ she thought. The thought of herself rising in status and living here in the future excited Debbie.
“It’s almost seven. Hasn’t Dylan come home from work yet?” Debbie asked.
Olivia replied, “He didn’t go to the company today. He’s in the study on the third floor, dealing with work. He’ll come down for dinner.*
Debbie immediately looked upstairs. “Where’s the study? I’ll go up and greet Dylan first. Since I’m visiting his home, it wouldn’t be good not to greet him promptly.”
Olivia said, “He’s working. Don’t disturb him just yet. There’s no rush to greet him. Dinner will be ready soon. We can wait until he comes down. Let me show you to the guest room first. You can put your suitcases down there.”
Debbie pouted and reluctantly followed Olivia, dragging her suitcase behind her with a lack of enthusiasm.
Carol nudged Debbie quietly and whispered a warning. “Be careful. There are other people in the villa. Don’t be so obvious, or people might notice and make fun of you.”
Debbie was a bit annoyed but nodded obediently.
Olivia led them to a guest room on the second floor and said, “I didn’t know Debs was coming too, so I only had the maid prepare one guest room. Put your suitcases here for now. I’ll have someone prepare another room for you before dinner.”
After putting down her suitcase, Debbie clung to Olivia and said, “Ollie, can I take a tour of your room?”
Olivia replied, “What’s there to see? It’s just like any other room.”
Debbie pouted and pleaded, “I’m curious. Come on, indulge my curiosity.”
Olivia sighed and said, “Alright.”
Carol didn’t follow them upstairs. After putting down her luggage, she went back downstairs.
Olivia took Debbie up to the third floor. She pointed to the room at the end of the left corridor and said, “That’s Dylan’s study. He keeps some work- related things in there. Don’t go in without his permission.
“Next to the study is his bedroom, and my bedroom is at the end of the right corridor.”
Although Olivia and Dylan’s rooms were both on the third floor, they were the farthest apart, which clearly showed how much Dylan disliked her and wanted to stay as far away from her as possible.
Olivia walked toward the right, took a few steps, and then stopped, looking at Debbie who was standing still, staring longingly at the left. “Aren’t you coming to see my room?” she asked.
Debbie snapped out of it and playfully stuck her tongue out. “Nah, you’re right. There’s nothing special about a bedroom. Let’s go downstairs and check out other places,”

Olivia smiled but didn’t say anything and led her back downstairs.
After they toured the downstairs for a while, the meal was ready, and the maids began to bring the dishes to the table.
Debbie’s eyes widened in surprise when she saw Chloe, dressed in a maid’s uniform, serving the dishes alongside the other maids.
