Kaelen appeared at the entrance to the forest path in his wheelchair, his face pale but his eyes wild.

“And I never loved you. If you hadn’t stolen Theron’s bracelet and made me mistake the wrong person, I wouldn’t have saved you in my previous life either.”
I held Theron’s hand and turned to leave.
He froze.
The wheelchair lost control on the gravel with a clatter, and Kaelen fell heavily to the ground.
“Elira… please, give me one more chance…”
I didn’t look back, but instead walked faster.
After returning home, I told Theron everything about my previous life in detail.
He punched the wall in anger.
“Elira, it’s my fault for not protecting the bracelet better. You’ve suffered so much because of me. I promise, every injustice you endured, I’ll make Kaelen pay for it double!”
A few days later, things took a dramatic turn. Before Theron could confront Kaelen, Kaelen kidnapped me first.
My limbs were bound by ropes, rendering me immobile.

“You used your blood to heal him, yet you watched me become a cripple.”
Kaelen sat in his wheelchair, looking at me with a twisted, ferocious expression.

“Your blood can heal my legs, can’t it?”

“Get away from her!”
Theron burst through the door, his wolf form exploding forth. A dark shadow flashed by as his claws sent Kaelen flying.
‘Elira, don’t be afraid. I’m here.”
Seeing Theron appear, I could no longer hold back my tears.
‘Theron, I was so scared.”
‘Elira, don’t worry. I’m here now.”
He untied the ropes binding me and protected me as we left.
Somehow, Kaelen found the strength to prop up his upper body and raise his knife, stabbing fiercely oward Theron’s back.
Theron reacted quickly, dodging to the side.
3ut Kaelen, without his legs, couldn’t move as fast. He fell straight down, the knife plunging into his >wn chest.
By the time Kaelen was taken to the hospital, he had already stopped breathing.
