“Thanks, Mrs. Schmitt.” Adelaide was eating her food when she
couldn’t help but ask the question on her mind, “Mrs. Schmitt,
why didn’t your son’s family go back to their country?”
Cierra looked a bit sad and a little angry, “He’s dead.”

waiting for you to come find me, then he’ll take you away.”
“It’s not impossible.” Adelaide paused, looking serious. “But he
already knows that I live in the Sterling Estates.”
“What? He found out?” Teresa exclaimed, “So quickly?”
“Last night’s thing.” Adelaide just spilled the beans about the
whole thing, so he’s trying to freeze my card today, hoping I’ll
give in and apologize to him.”
“He’s not crazy, just mentally ill,” Teresa complained, “He used to
hide it well before, how did he suddenly go completely insane?”
