Chapter86
“Adele, I’m sorry, I scared you,” Spencer apologized softly.
“We will never give up on this!” she said quickly, then turned
and stormed out the door, making sure to wipe her lips
forcefully.
Even though she didn’t touch it, but the lingering smell of
Spencer on top, she still hates it!

“Adele,” Spencer sighed heavily and walked out slowly.
He calmly raised his eyes.
Adelaide, who ran out, was stopped by the security guards
outside long ago.
Adelaide turned around, glared at him angrily and said, “You
didn’t have to waste your time, you could never keep me
trapped here forever.”
Spencer slowly walked down the stairs, “It’s okay, once I’m
found, I’ll just move to another place. Evercrest is so big, there’s
always a place to hide you for a lifetime.”
“Are you trying to ruin the little sibling bond we have left
between us?”

“Destroy it, then you won’t have to pretend to be my brother
anymore.”
“Spencer, you’re so scary,” Adelaide shivered from head to toe,
completely frozen.
“You just couldn’t handle my feelings for you at that moment,
Adele. As long as you don’t see me as a brother, everything will
be fine,” Spencer patiently advised her.
“Get lost….” Adelaide spat out the word forcefully.
“Go in, it’s cold outside,” Spencer once again ignored her words,
just wanting to bring her back inside the house.
Just as I was thinking about giving him a kick in Adelaide, a car
headlight flashed by, followed by a loud bang.
Then the car started beeping.
Everything happened very suddenly.
Spencer had a bad feeling, grabbed Adelaide’s wrist, and said,
“Stop them.”
After saying that, he was about to stuff Adelaide into another
car.
“Where do you want to take me again?”

“It’s not safe here,” Spencer told her, “Let’s find another place to
talk slowly.“”
This time Adelaide didn’t waste time with him, she kicked his
right leg with a kick that didn’t miss. When she turned to run, she accidentally ran into a wall of flesh.
“Don’t be afraid,” Reginald’s deep voice floated down from
above, instantly calming Adelaide’s racing heart.
Reginald had his arm around her shoulder, his fierce and cold eyes fixed on the man in front of him.
“You should consider yourself lucky to live in a society
governed by the rule of law, Spencer.”
“Give Adele back to me!”
Reginald squinted his eyes, kicked out his long legs, and hit Spencer right in the chest.
He was kicked and flew away, then landed heavily on the car
body.
“Smash everything inside for me.” Reginald said this to his own people, then looked down, and then looked at Adelaide in his arms, who was trembling with fear. “Can you walk?”
Adelaide gritted her teeth and nodded.

Reginald took her away.
Spencer stood up holding his chest and shouted, “Adele, are you really going with him?”
Adelaide didn’t even look back, she just got into the front
passenger seat of the car after Reginald opened the door.
Spencer came charging like a mad beast, but he was stopped by
Reginald’s men.
Reginald gave him a look, got into the driver’s seat, and drove
off.
After driving for a while, Reginald noticed that Adelaide was silent the whole time, and it was obvious that something was
bothering her.
“Adelaide, cry if you want to cry.”
“Nope,” she mumbled, answering quickly.
Reginald glanced at her and said, “Didn’t realize your voice was
shaking?”
In that moment, Adelaide’s tense body suddenly collapsed like a solid dam, tears gushed out uncontrollably.
From gritting my teeth in silence to finally breaking down in uncontrollable sobs.
