I was somewhat surprised because I had no memory of ever meeting Theron–not even in my previous life. I only remembered that after I healed Kaelen in my past life, Theron quickly lost his Alpha status due to his coma and died shortly afterward.
I took out the blood medicine I had prepared in advance, lifted Theron’s head, and helped him drink

In just seven days at most, Theron would awaken.
“Elira, thank you. Whether Theron wakes up or not, the Silverhollow family will forever be grateful for your kindness,” Mrs. Silverhollow said.
“If you need anything, just name it. We’ll do whatever we can.”
As she began to bow to me again, I quickly stopped her.
“Mrs. Silverhollow, I’m not helping Theron for any reward. I just want to win.”

Mrs. Silverhollow’s eyes reddened with emotion.
“I’ve heard about your bet with Grace. The Silverhollow family has placed ten million moonlight stones on you. When you win, we’ll deliver it to you with interest.”
“Miss Elira, please don’t refuse–you’ve earned it.”
Just as I was about to speak, Grace appeared, pushing Kaelen toward us.
“So that’s why you volunteered to save Theron–you’re after the Silverhollow family’s money,” she said mockingly.
Grace stepped forward, taking Mrs. Silverhollow’s hand. “Mrs, Silverhollow, don’t be fooled by Elira. She couldn’t even heal Kaelen’s legs. How could she possibly wake Theron? You’ll end up losing both your son and your money.”
Mrs. Silverhollow yanked her hand away, her face expressionless. “The Silverhollow family believes in Miss Elira.”

Grace bit her lip, tears quickly gathering in her eyes.
Kaelen immediately spoke in a deep voice: “Mrs. Silverhollow, Theron and I have known each other for years. Surely you’ll trust my word. Elira is nothing but an incompetent quack. If you leave Theron in her hands, he’ll only die faster.”
stopped Mrs. Silverhollow from defending me and looked at Kaelen’s legs.
Kaelen, haven’t you noticed your legs have atrophied even more than before?”
Kaelen instinctively covered his legs with his coat.
‘Elira, what nonsense are you talking about? Since Grace started treating me, my legs have mproved significantly.”
A flash of panic crossed Grace’s eyes as she stepped in front of Kaelen.
‘Elira, you’re just talking nonsense about things you don’t understand. This is a natural reaction to he medicine. In a few days, Kaelen will be able to stand.”
You should focus on trying to wake Theron up instead of worrying about us.”
just smiled without responding.
Later that day, after giving Theron his blood medicine, Mrs. Velmoran sent me a video of Grace ›reparing her medicine.
Besides common herbs, Grace added several drops of an unidentified liquid from a bottle without iny label.
Suddenly, there was movement from the hospital bed.
quickly rose and walked over.
Theron, are you awake?”
‘Elira?”
Theron blinked, staring at my face as he spoke my name. His eyes were a captivating ice blue–I felt I’d seen such eyes somewhere before.
My wolf seemed excited. “Elira! He’s your destined mate!”

Shocked, I asked him: “You know me?”
Before he could answer, Mrs. Silverhollow burst through the door and embraced him.
I left to give mother and son some privacy.
Just outside the room, Mrs. Velmoran sent another video. She was crying, saying Kaelen’s legs had atrophied even more severely. His wolf hadn’t awakened–in fact, he was losing his connection to his wolf entirely. This had to be related to the liquid Grace had added to his medicine.
I recalled how in my previous life, Kaelen had confidently claimed Grace’s Lunashade Fern would
cure him.
I wondered if, in this life, Kaelen would still treasure Grace and want to hold a bonding ceremony
with her after she had destroyed his legs.
Over the next few days, Theron diligently continued his rehabilitation exercises and could already
walk.
Soon, the tenth day of my bet with Grace arrived.
