As soon as I finished speaking, Ryan exploded, picked up the folder on the table and smashed i on my head.
“Sophia, I think you are targeting Isabelle on purpose. Isabelle always thinks of you and wants you well, but you are still so ungrateful. I need to apologize to Isabelle right away, or we wil break up. I hate narrow–minded and jealous women like you the most.”
If it were my former love–brained self, after hearing Ryan’s words, I would definitely blame mysel and reflect on my mistakes frantically.
But now, I just think the pretentiousness of the two of them is disgusting.
I looked over coldly.
“Okay, in that case, let’s break up. You can go and love your sister.”
Ryan’s eyes widened instantly, as if it was unbelievable in his eyes that I agreed to break up. “Sophia, are you crazy? Do you know what you are talking about? I just treat Isabelle as a sister Don’t think about us with your dirty mind.”
Isabelle looked at me with a wronged and pitiful expression.
“Sophia sister, brother Ryan usually takes good care of me, but we are really just ordinary siblings. Don’t be angry because of me and brother Ryan. Otherwise, how about I give you a new Hermès bag when we go shopping this time? Just consider it as the cost of using your ID card.”
Ryan looked at me sarcastically.
“Sophia, you just want to take advantage of Isabelle, don’t you? Otherwise, you probably won’t be eligible to enter the Hermès store in your life. Now give your ID card to Isabelle and stop wasting everyone’s time.”
The colleague next to him also responded.
“Isabelle used your ID card, but she gave you points and a luxury bag. Others can’t even ask for it. Don’t be ungrateful.”
“I think you are just jealous of Isabelle. Isabelle is an intern and she is so rich. She must be the daughter of a wealthy family. Miss Sophia, even if you work hard for a hundred years, you can’t compare to Isabelle.”
“We have been colleagues for so many years, and as the manager of the department, you only treat us to drinks from the local bubble tea shop once a week. You are so stingy. You deserve to
be less likable than Isabelle.”
They never refused when I paid for their drinks out of pocket every week, but now they think I’m being stingy.
They are really a bunch of ungrateful people who can never be tamed, and fence–sitters who will fall at the slightest breeze.
Isabelle was beginning to get impatient.
“Sophia sister, stop making trouble and give me your ID card. I will go to the mall after get off work today to apply for a membership card so as not to delay everyone’s shopping spree

I held the bag tightly in my arms and looked at her coldly.
“I have something to do tomorrow, so I won’t be going out. I don’t need you to buy anything for me, so you can borrow someone else’s ID card,”
Isabelle’s expression flashed fierce for a moment, and then her eyes immediately turned red,
“Sophia sister, I know you don’t like me, but everyone works so hard for the company, I just want to reward everyone well. If you are not happy, then forget it, everyone should just work hard tomorrow.”
Isabelle’s words directly convicted me, as if it was me who stopped her from treating everyone to a shopping spree.
In an instant, my colleague looked at me angrily.
Someone reached out and pushed me to the ground, and someone picked up the drinks and water on the table and poured them on me.
“Sophia, are you deliberately not seeing us? It’s fine if you don’t want to go, but you’re also causing trouble for us.”
“Sophia, why are you so vicious? We finally have a day off, and Isabelle is willing to treat us to shopping, but you want to ruin it on purpose, right?”
