He smiles at me. “Are you building trust, Christina?”
“It is the first step, right?”
“Correct. Let’s sit,” he says.
Since I’m the student here, and he’s my partner, I take control of the conversation.
“Tell me about your day, Sebastian,” I say.
“Well, I got to watch my assistant defeat a retired Alpha this morning. That was a very proud moment, although I’m pretty sure she was holding back,” he says to me.
“You think I was holding back?” I ask, surprised.
“Weren’t you?”
I frown. Was I?
“There were several times when you had an opening, and you didn’t take it. I don’t think it’s a lack of knowledge or skill that kept you from defeating Benjamin more quickly, but I’m not exactly sure what it was. Do you know?”
“I didn’t feel like I held back at all.”
“Hmm, well then, I’ll keep watching and see what develops.”
“Your assistant didn’t make it past the ice again today.”
“She will. I have no doubt about her capabilities.”
“What else, Alpha?”
“I was wondering if you’d like to talk about the Finance class while you massage me. Of all the classes, that one seems to be giving you the most difficulty and we’re still in the first week.”
“I’ve never had to manage finances before, except my own. It’s considerably different.”
“Yes it is, but there are similarities and I’m happy to help you make those connections so the class makes more sense to you. Falling behind isn’t an option if you’re going to make it to the leaderboard. I know it’s only ten points, but I want you to have every opportunity to get points this semester.”
“Thank you, Sebastian.”
“Well, I’m relaxed and feel very trusting if you’re ready to get started,” he says, making me laugh.

“Let’s do this. Although, I’ll warn you, I’ve never given a massage before, so you’ll have to guide me.”

“I can do that,” he says, standing and walking to the bed before dropping the towel and laying face down on the bed.
Damn. His body is perfect, with muscles rippling across his arms, back, thighs and even his buttocks. His broad shoulders slide to a deep V, ending in narrow hips and an absolutely perfect ass. His thighs are big, but not overly so and his calves are proportioned well with his thighs.
He turns and looks at me. “Christina?”
“Are all retired Alphas as fit as you are, Sebastian?”
“I don’t know. What I do know is that James and I have to stay fit to keep up with the young Alphas who come in ev- ery semester. If not, I wouldn’t be able to keep up with them or you, especially when riding the Beast.”
“Well, I’m sorry to stare, I just wasn’t expecting you to look quite so good,” I say honestly. 2
“Thank you,” he says, grinning before he turns his face away from me.
I walk over to him, running my hands over his shoulders and back, getting a feel for his muscles. When I get to his lower back, I feel the tension there, different than in his shoulders where I carry mine.
“You carry your stress in your lower back,” I say.
“I do,” he answers.
I slide my hands back up, running them down his arms, getting accustomed to the lines of his muscles, then I return to his neck and graze my nails from his neck up into his hair. I smile as goosebumps light up all over his body.
This is going to be fun.

Christina’s hands are soft, but firm and I feel my body responding the moment she begins sliding her hands over my body. It feels like she’s searching the muscles of my body, hunting for the places that are sore and need attention. She may never have given a massage before, but I already know I’m going to feel great tomorrow.
And then she slides her hands into my hair. Her nails scraping against my skin makes my body tingle. As her hands slide back down my back, I feel her face near mine.
