“Wait here, let me get you some water,” I say, going to the water cooler we keep here for this very reason. I fill a cup of water and bring it over to her, helping her to sit up and holding her steady when she sways.
“Drink this,” I say to her.
She does and I grab her robe, putting it around her shoulders while the blood moves back through her body.
“Do you want some more?” I ask when she finishes the water.
“No, thank you,” she says, carefully sliding off the table.
I move her slippers in front of her feet and she steps into them.
“I don’t think I’m going to bother getting dressed. I’ll just walk back in my robe. I’m sure everyone is in their rooms by now.”
“I’ll get your clothes and walk back with you,” I say, wanting to make sure she’s okay. I don’t expect that she’ll get at- tacked, but she’s still a bit wobbly.
When I come back out of the locker room with her clothes, I catch her looking at my shorts. I’d done what James sug- gested thankfully, since I came twice while I was keeping Christina on that high.

“Something wrong?” I ask innocently.
“No,” she says, not looking at me.

She looks at me and hesitates.
“You’ll be touching me starting tomorrow night, right?”

“You should probably drink some more water tonight,” I tell her.

I smile and press my lips to her forehead. “Sleep well, Christina.”
