Camilla looked at the sky and said slowly, “His name is Ryan. He’s a fool.”
Henric was usually calm, but he felt a jolt of shock when he heard that. Could it be a coincidence?
He turned Camilla’s face to him and studied it closely

It came the third day of the program.
Kate checked the clock and walked over to Camilla, who was still sleeping in bed. She whispered, “Camilla, time to get up.”
“Kate, just 10 more minutes, please. Only 10 minutes, I promise,” she mumbled, turning over
Camilla had drunk two glasses of blueberry wine last night and now her head was throbbing. She didn’t want to get up.
Kate played her ace card. “Lori made spaghetti for breakfast. It’s beef spaghetti!”
As expected, Camilla, who had been unwilling to leave the bed, sat up right away.
“Ouch,” Camilla said, fooling a sudden dizziness. She rubbed her temples and some vague images flashed in and asked, “Kate, how did I get back here last night?!
Kate blinked and looked at her puzzled face. “Henric brought you back. Don’t you remember?”
She had no memory of it and shook her head.
Kate sighed and said, “Girls shouldn’t drink too much, especially when they’re out. It’s not safe.”
She kept talking, giving Camilla all kinds of safety advice.

A few minutes later, Camilla ran downstairs humming a tune.

Henric tried to remember and said, “Nothing too bad. You just kept shouting that you could fly and do all sorts of martial arts.” He paused and added, “Then you tried to show me.”
Camilla’s face fell as she looked at the dark shadows under Henric’s eyes. “When did you go to bed last night?” she asked.
His face was expressionless as he replied coldly, “3 am.”
“I’m sorry, Henric. I was a bit too wild last night. Please forgive me.” she ran to the door, saying as she went, afraid of his piercing gaze.
He didn’t think anyone could have predicted her behavior.
Lori watched Camilla dash by from the dining table, “Where are you going, Camilla? Breakfast is here.”
She, who was about to leave the house, stopped and turned around quickly. “I’m coming” she said.
After breakfast, she wanted to check the task board and plan her day.
But Ned came over and said, “The task you have to do today is not on the board.”
Everyone looked at him.
Maria asked, “Ned, then what do we have to do today?”
Ned cleared his throat and said, “It’s mushroom season now. Your task today is to go up the mountain and pick mushrooms. Two villagers will lead you up the mountain, and you will be split into three groups. Each group has to fill one basket with mushrooms to finish the task. The group that finishes first will get a deluxe lunch set, while the group that fails will get a regular meal”
Ned handed out three brochures and said, “These have pictures of all the mushrooms that are safe or dangerous. Don’t mess with the dangerous ones, especially you, Camilla. I know you like to explore, but it’s not worth the risk.”

Ned an eye roll and whined that he was always singling her out.
He ignored her and said, “You can form your own groups now and start exploring.”
Maria knew that the Internet was probably buzzing with the news of what happened with Freddy last night. She was worried that if she teamed up with Freddy, people might resent her too. But she didn’t want to be stuck with Kate either..
She looked at Henric and felt hopeful. He didn’t seem as bad as the rumors said. He even got along with Camilla. If he could be nice to Camilla, he could be nice to her too. She felt that she was just as good as her, so she approached Henric with confidence.
Maria smiled sweetly at him and asked, “Henric, can I join your group?”
Camilla saw them and hugged Kate with a big smile. “Kate, Iwant to be with…
“U” Camilla was grabbed by Henric, flailing her arms and legs in the air.
Henric coldly said, “Where do you think you’re going?”
Camilla turned to glare at Henric. “We’re making groups, Henric.”
“You’re in my group,” Henric said as he let go of Camilla’s collar and pulled her closer to him, smoothing out her clothes.
Ned nodded, as if he had expected this outcome
Maria felt mortified, standing there awkwardly. She wanted to disappear, her face burning with shame and her eyes full of defiance.
“Maria, let’s be in the same group.” Kate said, seeing her distress and pulling her away.
The only ones left were Lori and Freddy, who had no choice but to team up.

The mountain was of mosquitoes and bugs, so everyone changed into suitable clothes and shoes and brought enough water. Two villagers led them to the area, where they could pick mushrooms.
Henric had a basket on his back, watching the slim figures ahead of him, massaging his sore forehead.
camilla acted like she had been locked up for ages, just freed from her prison, climbing one tree after another and hanging upside down from them.
Ned also had a headache, his chest rising and falling, Jack quickly gave him a heart reliever.
After fooling better, Ned took a deep breath and ran to a big tree, yelling at Camilla who was taking bird eggs from above, “Camillal Get down here. Look at yourself, do you have any manners? You’re behaving like a monkey, what if you fall and hurt yourself?”
Henric frowned, looking annoyed at Ned. “Keep it down, you scared her.”
Ned was stunned, feeling wronged, exhausted, and tearful!
Camilla was jolted by Ned’s loud voice, and her hand shook, almost dropping the bird eggs. She carefully put it back, patting her chest in relief.
Then Camilla shouted back, “What’s your problem? You think you’re so cool just because you have a big voice?”
They successfully drove away the little birds on the branches.
Ned quieted down after Henric scolded him. “I’m just concerned about you. Can you please get down?” He sounded very meek.
Camilla slid down reluctantly.
