She’d wanted to see if Aurora would get upset over something like that.
If she had, Megan would’ve had to pull Lucas aside later and tell him to comfort her properly.

Now that she saw Aurora really hadn’t taken it to heart, she felt fully reassured.
As long as she didn’t care, there was no need to worry about arguments or tension between the two of them.

“Right now, Julian is in our custody, and Tessa has been sent to the hospital we’re partnered with.”
Lucas narrowed his sharp eyes, his voice tinged with danger. “Are you sure his mental state is truly unstable?”
