She couldn’t remember anything about him, not even the slightest impression.
But for some reason, the feeling he gave her was unpleasant, even strange.
After all this time, she still couldn’t recall anything about him.
The next second, the stranger’s expression changed the moment he saw Aurora’s car drive off.
He stepped aside and pulled out his phone, clearly about to call someone.
Aurora raised an eyebrow.
She hadn’t expected the person they sent to be this clueless.

“Yeah, I saw everything clearly. Even the camera was confiscated by the police.”
Hearing that, Aurora quickly figured out what the other person had asked.

“Alright. Don’t worry. I’ll keep watching.”
After hanging up, the man let out a sigh of relief.
He might be doing this for money, but the presence of the person on the other end was still way too intense.
Every time he spoke with that person, it felt like walking the edge of death.
So, if he could avoid calling, he would.
Unless absolutely necessary, he had no intention of calling at all.
Now, he still had to keep watch outside the police station.
If anything changed, he had to report it immediately.

Tessa took a deep breath and stared at the floor.

It really felt like fate was helping her out.
