That line once again cleared Tessa of any responsibility, clean and perfect.

Grace also said there shouldn’t be any issues.
But her emotions were clearly off.
And with Lucas not answering his phone, she genuinely felt like she was losing face.
“Alright, Mom, I’ll let you know once I get there. I’ll put it on speaker, then you can talk to Lucas yourself.”
Grace nodded. “Don’t worry, I know what to say.”
After all, she’d been running a company for so many years.
