Daniel immediately opened the nearby office and quickly tidied it up.
Levi smiled faintly. “Sure, I’ll follow Mrs. Alice’s lead.”
Eric didn’t say a word, but the fact that he didn’t even spare Irene a glance said everything.
Everyone around was practically sweating bullets.
Then, Alice walked straight into the office without so much as acknowledging Irene.
Irene looked like she was about to explode.
Her eyes, venomous and sharp, landed on Eric as if waiting for him to back down.
Eric didn’t speak at first, which made everyone hold their breath.
They were terrified he’d side with family and throw Alice under the bus.

Soon, paramedics came and helped Irene out of the building. The rest of the staff quickly dispersed.
Only the IT department staff were left standing there, completely dazed.

Alice nodded. “We can agree to that.”

But Levi suddenly hesitated.
“Thing is, I heard the fashion department is actually run by Mrs. Irene.”
Alice gave a soft smile.
“We can just call a board meeting to transfer the authority.”
Levi let out a breath of relief. “Mrs. Alice really is impressive.”
He hadn’t expected her to have that kind of hold over all the Nolan shareholders–let alone the steer the board itself.
Even Ruby and Irene wouldn’t dare make such bold claims.
At that instant, he felt even more sure about the idea he’d had before.
So he stood up and turned to Alice with the utmost respect.

“Mrs. Alice… I wonder if I can ask you for one more favor regarding the fashion department matter?”
“Go on.”
Alice never agreed to things lightly, especially when it came to other people’s requests.
She had to know what they were asking first.
Levi stood up.
“Here’s the thing–I have another audition coming up in a few days over at Risa’s side. I was hoping Mrs. Alice could give me some coaching on my acting before then.”

Alice glanced at him with a faint smile.
Her gaze lingered on Levi, assessing him.
Honestly, based on the videos Risa had sent her, Levi did have some acting ability.
Compared to those pretty–boy actors who coasted by on looks, he was definitely better.
But compared to her standards? He still had a long way to go.
She gave it some thought.
“I’ve been quite busy lately, so I can only give you one day.”
The moment she spoke, Kaleb nearly exploded.
He’d been a manager for years and had never seen a nobody this full of himself.
But Levi looked like he’d just won the lottery.
“Sure. I’ll do whatever you say.”
Alice waved him off.
“Also, I’ll introduce you to a coach.”
Levi was stunned, then his face lit up with an uncontrollable smile. “Thank you, Mrs. Alice.”
Kaleb let out a cold snort, clearly unimpressed.
There were tons of so–called acting coaches in the industry.
But there were hardly any with real skills.
The only one truly considered a master was Ryan Warren–Zachary’s legendary mentor.
He had debuted young and peaked early. No one had managed to surpass him in years.
